Location. Located in northern New Mexico at an altitude of 2300m and nestled a the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains that reach 3700m.
Culture. Over the years, a rich, tri-cultural heritage of Native Americans, Spanish, and Anglos has emerged that makes Santa Fe truly unique. Typically among the top five tourist destination in the US, Santa Fe is known for its natural beauty, arts, architecture, and eclectic style.
Santa Fe Weather. At an elevation of over 2000m, Santa Fe’s climate is typical of a high mountain desert, with low humidity, a lot of sunshine, and rather large changes between day- and night-time temperatures. Typical day-time temperatures should be in the range 83-85 F (28-29 C) and at night around 50 F (10 C). An occasional afternoon rain shower is common during the mid-summer season.
